The quality of waterproof for building a roof is in accordance to the level of uniformity for each of the tiles. As ceramic tiles cannot be made exactly the same, small gaps will appear on the roof to allow rain and wind to slip through. Compared to ceramic tiles, the high precision “Air Roof” tiles have precisely the same quality and shape so that it will prevent the rain from leaking through the roof to 1/300 that of ceramic tiles. Also, our original waterproof bank on each tile will prevent rain form penetrating the back of the tile.

Lumiflon underwent an EMMAQA test in the cruel conditions found in the Arizona Desert for both the fluorine coating and the ceramic coating.
